Graphic & Web Designer / Multimedia Animator
Here at BBG&G, the office has been known to be a little loud on occasion. Boisterous, even. Alyssa is usually not the biggest contributor to the decibel overload, but that doesn’t mean she has nothing to say. Alyssa talks with her designs, and they’ve been known to get quite a point across – whether for a client or something she’s doing on her own. The ability to express oneself visually is a serious gift, and because Alyssa’s got it – and we’ve got her – we’re able to make our clients’ messages speak in more ways than one.
What does it mean to you to work for a female-owned business and why is it important?
I think the nurturing quality that women have is reflected in the work they do. It’s a wonderful experience to work with a group of talented women who are equally passionate about their work and family.
What would your colleagues say is, er, different about working with you?
I’m not much of a talker, but I’m a great listener. I love graphic design and feel lucky to have a job I’m passionate about.
What is the fantasy job you do in your imagination? (Baseball player, musician, marine biologist, etc.?) Come on. We know you have one.
I’ve always wanted to be an artist. I love painting, woodworking, and ceramics. I would love to have my own studio with endless art supplies, tools, and my own kiln.
How do your values influence your approach to your job at BBG&G?
I’m a big believer of working together as team. Helping your co-workers and sharing your individual thoughts and experience helps to create an enriched working environment.
