If someone’s going to see it, Shannon is going to make sure it looks spectacular. That’s what she’s excelled at over the course of a nearly 15-year career mastering everything from design and concepting to photo enhancements and pre-press checks. Shannon has a real eye not just for design, but for the type of visual approach that makes a client’s brand come to life and its message resonate.
Tell us about a time when you felt especially satisfied about how you had made a difference for a client?
I caught a negative comment within the client’s social media in my free time, and we alerted them to it... it was not so much that it was a “good catch”, but that they could see we were looking out for their best interests at all times.
What would your colleagues say is, er, different about working with you?
That I’m generally awesome. Just kidding. I suppose that I am a creative who is also highly organized. Those two things don’t always go together. I’m also a goof with a dry and often sarcastic sense of humor.
What is the fantasy job you do in your imagination? (Baseball player, musician, marine biologist, etc.?) Come on. We know you have one.
In my imagination I have the skills to renovate historic homes. Or, any home for that matter.
How do your values influence your approach to your job at BBG&G?
I believe in an honest days pay for an honest days work. I definitely believe if you’re going to do something you need to do it right and to the best of your ability the first time. I’m not a fan of the phrase “it’s good enough”... which is why I am very thorough and at times perhaps annoyingly detail-oriented. I think it’s also called something else…
