Hudson Valley Tourism, Inc. (HVT), established 25 years ago by I LOVE NY, partnered with BBG&G to enhance its digital presence and drive tourism across its 10-county region. Through immersive blogs, themed itineraries, user-generated content, and video, the campaign significantly boosted social engagement, website traffic, and newsletter performance that exceeded industry benchmarks.

					Instagram "Influencer" Program
As a part of our Social Media efforts, we launched an influencer program to showcase all that the Hudson Valley has to offer. BBG&G utilizes user-generated content (UGC), content requested from Instagram users, for Hudson Valley. In addition to this tactic, BBG&G captured images in the influencer style to provide original content and create a more aesthetically pleasing feed.
After implementing a strategy for stories and reels and a more consistent & frequent posting schedule, the Hudson Valley Tourism social media accounts started to see improvement in overall analytics. When compared to the months prior to those we implemented the new strategy, we saw great improvement. For Instagram, we saw an increase in reach by 319.6% and for Facebook, the reach was up by 127.1%. The most improvement we saw was in the Instagram account. Impressions were up by 1.1k% and engagement was up by 1.2k%.
Website Design and Development
To more fully tell the Hudson Valley story, we reorganized existing content into travel experience categories, created a stronger call-to-action, and more richly presented possible experiences through defined itineraries and packages, trip advice, more photos, and travel news.
In addition, we added a few extra features to drive content marketing, knowing that if a destination delivers consistent and ongoing valuable information to consumers, they ultimately reward that place with their visitation and loyalty.
 
					Our Travel Tools section contains helpful tips for international travelers. A virtual calendar makes it easy for people to search for events. Our packages and itineraries pages give potential tourists an idea of how they might spend their time in the Hudson Valley. The site is easy to use, packed with helpful information, and enticing to the Hudson Valley traveler.
In addition, video content, public relations, and e-marketing services added to brand exposure and web traffic. We continually monitor Hudson Valley Tourism’s search engine optimization (SEO) through routine keyword and long-tail searches. Over time, we’ve made strategic adjustments to the website copy and have seen drastic improvements to the site’s organic search results.
