BBG&G Team Takes Steps For Better Well-Being
Campbell Hall, N.Y. (September 13, 2019) -- BBG&G, an integrated marketing agency in Campbell Hall, NY, received the Gold Medal of Excellence from the Orange County Health & Wellness Initiative on Thursday, September 12th at the Orange County Chamber of Commerce monthly breakfast at Anthony’s Pier 9 in Newburgh, NY.
The award recognizes chamber member businesses that take concerted efforts to introduce and support wellness policies in the workplace. The Orange County Health & Wellness Initiative collaborates with the Orange County Chamber of Commerce as well as several wellness organizations to promote workplace wellness and reward businesses that accomplish this. To qualify for the medal, BBG&G needed to complete training sessions and implement in-office policies.
BBG&G has established these initiatives in their workplace and qualified for the Gold Medal in just three months.
Brittany Varetoni, Marketing Automation Specialist, headed the wellness programs in-office to inspire the team for better practices in and outside of work hours.
“I’m pleased to help initiate these new policies within our office, and work towards a common goal of better office and individual well-being,” said Varetoni.
As part of its wellness program, the BBG&G staff received training in Stress Management by HealtheConnections and CPR instruction by the local chapter of the American Heart Association. BBG&G has implemented a water-friendly worksite policy and a healthy meeting policy, as well. Additional friendly team challenges have encouraged healthy goal setting, such as drinking more water and walking more frequently throughout the day.
