Overview

Orange Motorsports & Entertainment (OME) needed to better understand how its audience was changing, so they began looking for an experienced marketing agency to help them stay relevant, connected and growth-oriented.

Challenge

BBG&G coordinated two surveys for the OCFS. One was to gauge the current perception of the OCFS by current event attendees. The other survey was to gain knowledge about OCFS’s female audience and how the fairgrounds might be used for different types of entertainment.

Solution

The first survey was conducted on-site at two of the OCFS’s most attended opening race events. It was comprised of five questions and distributed by BBG&G team members with tablets. By using Google Forms to conduct the survey, the team was able to incorporate real-time results into their efforts.

The second survey was distributed online through SurveyMonkey. It was promoted by email marketing, available on the OME website, and through social media marketing. BBG&G created branded graphics and materials to catch the attention of survey participants. Since this survey was intended to be filled out by the female audience, targeted Facebook ads were set up to engage this demographic.

Orange Motorsports & Entertainment was established in 2018 to bring new and exciting live events to the Orange County, NY area. Some of OME’s work has included renovation efforts at the Orange County Fairgrounds and Speedway (OCFS).
