Uh-oh, your home page is not always where a visitor will land

It’s like walking into the middle of a movie, only no popcorn.

No matter how well you organize and plan your website, you just never know how your visitors will navigate through it, or even what page they will enter. It’s a bit unnerving when you think about it. Especially for those of us who thrive on organization! Screen Shot 2015-09-25 at 2.31.56 PM

Programs like our Marketing Automation platform or Google Analytics can help you see what pages people are landing on and which ones are getting the most visits. But even with that, assume every page is like your home page:

  • Have your logo appear in the same place on every page, as well as your tagline (if you have one)
  • Keep your website easy-to-navigate
  • Make every page easily scannable
  • Provide contact information and a call to action on every page
